| How To Install Blogger Template | Step by Step Guide |
Installing a blogger template on your blogger blog is very easy. XadyTech provides you with hundreds of free blogger templates to revamp your blog. Correct! We are giving a new look to a blogger blog. This tutorial shows you how to install/upload a new blogger template. We cover two kinds of installation methods with step-by-step instructions.
Step 1: Download the Blogger Template.
Browse through the blogger templates on our website and choose your favorite one. (You can Live Preview all of our templates to see how your blog will look after uploading the template.) After browsing, click the Download button on your desired template, and the template file will be live. downloaded and stored on your computer's hard drive.
Step 2: Extract the compressed downloaded sample file.
The file format you downloaded is the .ZIP / .RAR file format. We can only upload files with .xml extension. So it is necessary to be extracted. Please unzip/unzip it.
Step 3: Open the .xml file with a text editor.
Open the .xml file with a text editor like notepad, wordpad, notepad++, or something like that.
Step 4: Copy all the code.
In a text editor, press Ctrl + A and then press Ctrl + C (Ctrl + A to select all code, Ctrl + C to copy selected code)
Step 5: Open the HTML Editor on blogger.
You have to login to your google account to access your blogger dashboard (Skip this step if you are already logged in).
On the Blogger Dashboard, click Themes. Open the HTML Editor on the blogger dashboard and click the "Edit HTML" button.
Step 6: Paste the code on the blogger's HTML editor.
Click anywhere in the HTML Editor. Now press Ctrl + A and then Ctrl + Y (Ctrl + A to select all encodings, Ctrl + Y to replace selected encoding with copied pattern encoding). Finally click the "Save Theme" button.
